How to Respond

Respondents are invited to submit proposals for the land described in the offer.

Selection criteria and weighting will be the following:

  • Price and agreement with Commercial Terms - 40%
  • Delivering the affordable housing outcomes being sought - 25%
  • Resourcing and management to meet the proposed timeframes - 20%
  • *Willingness to work with Mana Whenua and Māori, and demonstrate how the proposed development recognises the importance of Maori perspectives,and Tiriti O Waitangi and its principles (Download from "Other Documents") - 15%

*Kāinga Ora acknowledges that some respondents may not yet have the understanding or operational ability to respond in a meaningful way to this criteria. In this case we encourage respondents to consider the criteria and think about how in the longer term you may be able to operate in this area.

 

The closing date for proposals is: 4PM Thursday 21 January 2021

Final purchaser/s selection is expected: Mid-February 2021

Design Guidelines
Kāinga Ora has an established set of design guidelines for the development projects we masterplan and manage. These guidelines guide our own organisation and our delivery partners, with the aim of ensuring that the built environment we deliver facilitates positive social outcomes. They demonstrate best practice design so that all parties involved know what is required to meet our core objective of creating neighbourhoods that support the wellbeing of our communities.
