The Wesley neighbourhood is located within the southwest quadrant of the Auckland isthmus, approximately 7km southwest of the CBD and sits at the heart of the wider Roskill development. It is a thriving, multicultural neighbourhood with two schools, local shops and a strong sense of family and community, centred around the highly celebrated Wesley Community Centre. 

Wesley sits just 3.5km from both the upper reaches of the Waitematā Harbour to its west and the Manukau Harbour to the south. It is overlooked by three maunga – Ōwairaka (Mt Albert), Puketāpapa (Mt Roskill) and Te-tātuaa-Riukiuta (Three Kings). Te Auaunga runs through the heart of Wesley and together with the nearby maunga, forms an important element of the community’s identity. Now, with the need for higher density to care for an increasing population, Wesley is growing.
